My academic success started at the young age of 7 where I began to go to school. I was born in Ann Arbor and lived in Michigan for about three years. My dad received a job offer in Denver as a dentist, so my family and I moved there to a city near Denver called Littleton, Colorado. I went to school from Kindergarten to second grade at Cherry Creek Academy. I then transferred to Walnut Hills until fifth grade and then once again, back to Cherry Creek for sixth and seventh grade. After seventh grade, my dad was too busy with his job in order to take care of me so I moved back to Michigan to live with my mom. It was a tough transition, but I managed to adjust to the new school system. I attended Michigan Islamic Academy from eighth grade to tenth. After, I transferred to Central Academy. Overall, my academic life has been a roller coaster, but I have tried my best to enjoy every bit of it. Now I am currently enrolled back at Michigan Islamic Academy. Overall, I feel I am a very outgoing person and I love to succeed. However, I understand that failure always comes before success. With hard work, I have managed to get a couple of academic excellence awards, a football award, many basketball awards, and have made it onto a varsity team. I am trying to finish off as strong as possible this year as a senior. All seniors at my school must create a senior project where they must search about a topic and come up with a lot of reputable information on that topic in order to educate others and learn for themselves. I am really looking forward to this because I love learning new things each and every day that goes by. I chose to do my senior project on black seed because I have a huge interest in nutrition and I know that black seed is beyond a superfood with all the benefits it holds. I am hoping to use this project to my advantage to help me in my future and my nutrition field.
